Frank Lampard remains resigned to leaving Chelsea at the end of the season despite fresh indications yesterday (Thursday) that the club were reconsidering whether to offer the midfielder a new contract. Roman Abramovich, the Chelsea owner, has come under heavy criticism for the failure to extend Lampard's contract but the situation is still being reviewed following the 34-year-old's outstanding recent form.
